Affordable Course Materials Summit

Learn how to locate, adopt, and adapt Open Educational Resources and other alternatives to traditional textbooks at Kent State University Libraries’ 2022 Affordable Course Materials Summit on Friday, Sept. 23, 2022 from 9:30 am – 3:30 pm in the first-floor Harrick Garden Room. A light breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks will be provided.

The event will feature insights from Kent State awardees of the OhioLINK OER Course Redesign Grants, along with faculty who have authored their own open textbooks. Attendees will receive information on applying for Kent State’s own Open Educational Resources (OER) and Affordable Learning Materials (ALM) Incentive Program Grants, to be awarded in January 2023.
